Sampling materials, including swabs and sterile containers or vials, are available from Wemmershoek Diagnostic Laboratory at no extra charge if returned for testing at our laboratory facility.
If a required test is not listed, please contact us. The service may be available through one of our reference laboratories.
We offer a wide range of tests suitable for most animal species. Our test offerings are continuously expanded, and existing diagnostic methods are regularly updated and/or upgraded.
Sample collections should be submitted between 08:00 and 16:15. An after-hours surcharge applies to collections placed after the 16:15 cut-off time. Wemmershoek Diagnostic Laboratory is open for sample collection on Saturdays from 08:00 to 11:30.
